Yo, what's up.
 Whut? Can't find this or that anymore? What the hell is going on? » It's, erm, Christmas cleaning time. My graphics + BL videos are not available now. Some other stuff may suddenly disappear too. Videos will be back, though. And once the cleaning is done, my DVD rips will be membes only. Other posts will remain public. » And, since it's Christmas season and blaablaa, I take livejournal mood theme requests. Provide pics if possible (the bigger the better, the more the merrier). I won't guarantee that I'll fulfill every request. It depends on the number of requests + themes requested. » Samurai High School is now over (9 eps only..). I'll post gifs of eps 5-9 in batch. Very very simple VOB to AVI encoding tutorial (+ adding watermark/logo)
I've written an encoding tutorial before, but since I was asked how to watermark/logo files, I'm posting this tutorial. There are two ways how I watermark videos: 1. subtitles + subtitle filter 2. picture + logo filter I mainly use the first method, and because I'm not cool, I'll only explain that one. After reading this tutorial, everyone and their mother should be able to encode nice, neat files. To smart asses: this tutorial is for newbies, and I'm not gonna explain why I do something the way I do. You can take your bitchy attitude somewhere else, kthxbye. Things you gotta know: - I don't have Mac, I have Windows OS. Can't help with Mac problems. - Some people install 3259739 codec packs for whatever reason. Unfortunately "better safe than sorry" doesn't work here. Don't install overlapping codecs. What does it mean? If you have installed e.g. K-Lite Mega Codec Pack there's no need to install XP Codec Pack, Xvid, ffdshow etc etc etc. I have ffdshow + Xvid. The first one is for VirtualDubMod and the latter one for StaxRip. - If you encode a lot, create templates. Templates are god's gift - they save a lot of time and effort. I recommend to tweak default template right away (make changes before opening a file, otherwise you cannot save the changes). What should you change? You can start from codec and audio settings (scroll down to see what nonsense I've written about them). So, you're gonna need: - DVD Decrypter for ripping DVD. - Aegisub for creating subtitle file. Even though I had already seen the movie at a small party, it was really fun to watch it with so many other guests. My idea for the film was super plain, so it's like a dream to see it turned into such a lavish, fun, emotional movie...! It seems much more interesting to me than the manga, but even so it makes me incredibly happy. So there before the showing there were all these guests around me, and...Ah I can't think what to say. It's all just trifles anyway. Anyway, I feel like first the director, then the cast and staff all came around to see me. Everyone, I'm looking forward to opening day~. Let's all talk about it on the website afterward, okay? [PICTURE] Here's how the orchestra celebrated: it's stacked high... And today is also the release date of Kiss. The Nodame Opera Chapter has kicked off--! On the last page I wrote about a song that gets stuck in your head.
